The nearest airport is Barcelona - El Prat (BCN). The journey can be done by Taxi (30 minutes and approximate cost € 40), Aerobús (40 minutes to Plaza Catalunya and ticket cost € 7.90 per person), RENFE Train (Station in Airport Terminal-2 to Passeig de Gràcia and cost of the ticket € 4.60 per person) or through a Private Transfer service (contact the hotel to book this private service). The closest metro stop to the hotel is Passeig de Gràcia (L2, L3 and L4).

We have our own parking, no prior reservation is necessary, and at a cost of € 26.40 per car per day, VAT included. We recommend contacting previously for large vehicles.

Is there a swimming pool at the Balmes Residence and what are the hours of the Balmes Residence swimming pool?

Balmes Residence has a swimming pool in the hotel garden, located in a large patio with abundant natural vegetation. The pool hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m. The pool is not heated.

What type of room can I book at Balmes Residence?

The Balmes Residence offers different types of apartments with kitchen and double rooms.

What kind of breakfast is served at the Balmes Residence? At what time? How much does breakfast cost?

Currently a buffet breakfast with hot dishes a la carte is served in the breakfast room at a cost of € 26.40 per person, VAT included. No reservation is necessary and it is served every day from 07:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast can also be ordered in your room (extra cost).

We suggest booking the STAY & BREAKFAST offer as it includes a special discount on both the price of the room and breakfast.

Are pets allowed at Balmes Residence?

Yes, we allow pets with weight limit 15kg. We recommend booking the STAY & DOG experience online in order to fully enjoy your stay at the hotel. In case of not having this reserved experience, a supplement of € 33 per day will be charged, VAT included. Only one pet per room is allowed.

Is it possible to access the terrace of the Balmes Residence without being lodged? What are the opening hours for the Balmes Residence Terrace?

The garden and pool area is for the exclusive use of the guests staying. The pool hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m.

Are there smoking rooms in the Hotel?

No, all the rooms and interior spaces of the Balmes Residence are Non-smoking. In accordance with current legislation, smoking is prohibited in all spaces within the hotel.

Are there rooms with a Jacuzzi at the Balmes Residence?

No, but we offer Hotel Balmes Deluxe rooms with a heated bathtub on the terrace (not a jacuzzi).

Is there a Spa at the Balmes Residence?

No, but we recommend Mayan Secret Spa at Hotel Claris 5* (from our same group). It is available every day from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.
